WAVES NATIONAL BYLAWS 2002 PROPOSED AMENDMENTS
BEGINNING ON THIS PAGE ARE THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO WN BYLAWS 2002. THESE CHANGES WILL BE VOTED ON BY WN MEMBERS AT THE CONVENTION IN PHILADELPHIA.
PRESENT WORDING OF BYLAWS 2002	PROPOSED AMENDMENT
#23. ARTICLE XII - STANDING COMMITTEES Section 2. Duties of Committees D. Time and Place 1. Composition. The Time and Place Committee shall be composed of three members with chairman appointed immediately after the convention.	Amend Article XII, Section 2.D.1. by substitution to read: 1. Composition. The Time and Place Committee shall be composed of a chairman and two members. Submitted by Jan Roy. Reason: To eliminate repetition. See Art. XII, 1.B.

#24. ARTICLE XII - STANDING COMMITTEES, Section 2 E. Veterans Affairs 1. Composition. The President shall appoint the Chairman who shall appoint one or two additional members.	Amend Article XII, Section 2.E.1 by substitution to read: 1. Composition. The Veterans Affairs Committee shall be composed of a chairman who shall appoint one or two additional members. Submitted by Jan Roy. Reason: To eliminate repetition.

#25. ARTICLE XII - STANDING COMMITTEES, Section 2.

F. Public Relations.

1. Composition. The President shall appoint the Chairman who shall appoint at least two members.

Amend Article XII, Section 2.F.1. to read:

1. Composition. The Public Relations Committee shall be composed of a chairman who shall appoint at least two other members.

Reason: To eliminate repetition.

#26. ARTICLE XII. Section 3. Informing President.

Committee Chairmen shall keep the President informed of what has transpired at their meetings.

Amend Article XII, Section 3. by substituting new sentence to read:

All committee chairmen are responsible for keeping the President advised of what has transpired within their committees.

27. ARTICLE XIII - HEADQUARTERS

Section 2. Executive Secretary

I. Submit monthly to the President an itemized account of all office expenditures, with receipts, for approval and reimbursement.

Amend Article XIII, Section 2.I. by substituting new sentence to read:

I. Submit monthly itemized account of all office expenditures, with receipts, to the President for approval and reimbursement.
