#3. ARTICLE V - Section 2.C. Application for Charter.
1. Application for charter shall be made on the official form obtained from the 2nd Vice President. Forward the completed form to the 2nd Vice President with the following: a. The minutes of four previously held meetings. b. The fee of $10.00 for each charter member’s dues (unless previously paid). c. A chartering fee of $25.00 together with names of charter members. d. Three copies of local unit bylaws to be reviewed and edited by the Bylaws Committee, and approved if correct. e. A charter shall be issued by the 2nd Vice President when all requirements are complete. f. If the bylaws conflict with the sample bylaws, the Bylaws Committee will return the bylaws to the unit who will correct them to meet the standards. |
Amend Article 2.C.1 by substituting new paragraph 1:
1. Application for charter shall be completed on WN form obtained from the Second Vice-President. After completion, the application shall be forwarded to the Second Vice-President with the following: a. Minutes of four previously held meetings; fee of $15.00* for each charter member’s dues (unless previously paid); a chartering fee of $25.00, together with names of charter members; and three copies of Unit bylaws after reviewed and approved by the WN Bylaws Chairman. Unit bylaws shall conform to basic Sample Bylaws format. b. A charter shall be issued by the 2nd Vice-President when all requirements are complete. 1. A unit shall write its own bylaws which will not conflict with WN Bylaws, and shall follow Sample Bylaws received in the Starter Kit. Each unit shall provide ... Submitted by Bylaws Chairman. Reason: To ensure unit bylaws follow Sample Bylaws. |

12. Sign all vouchers for payment of moneys in accordance with the budget. Any item not budgeted must be approved by the Board of Directors. |
Amend Article VI, 5.A.12 by striking second sentence of paragraph 12.
Paragraph 12 would then read:
