From the Editor…..
What is so rare as a day in June? Then, if ever, come perfect days.”  James Russell Lowell must have been experiencing the kind of weather we’ve had the last few weeks….just about perfect….when he wrote this.

We hope you are making plans to come to Bay City on July 28th for our social luncheon.  The Lantern can’t accommodate us long enough for a meeting, and besides, we thought you would rather just tour the riverfront on your own, visiting the shops and antique stores,  viewing the tall ships, or taking a cruise on the Princess Wenonah.
We are publishing phone numbers for you to make your own reservations for tours and cruises.

Did you know???

The microwave was invented after a researcher walked by a radar tube and a chocolate bar melted in his pocket.
